This Privacy Policy explains how Timur Iuldashev ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Pawsy mobile application (the "App"). Pawsy is an AI-powered dog-health companion that lets you scan photos, ask health questions, track symptoms, review lab results, check for toxic foods and plants, find emergency vets, and generate vet-ready reports for your dog.
We have written this policy to be accurate to what the App actually collects. By using Pawsy, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Important: Pawsy is an informational tool, not a medical device, and it does not provide veterinary diagnosis. See "Health Information & AI Disclaimer" below. In an emergency, contact a licensed veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately.

We only collect what the App needs to function and to improve. The categories below match the data types declared in our App Store privacy disclosures (Apple "Privacy Nutrition Label" / PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest).
We treat pet health data as sensitive and handle it accordingly, even though it relates to your animal rather than to you personally.

Where we rely on consent (for example, processing pet-health information or non-essential analytics in regions that require it), you may withdraw that consent at any time as described in Section 7. We do not use your pet-health data or chat content to train third-party foundation models for unrelated purposes.
A core part of Pawsy is AI analysis. When you submit a photo, question, lab image, or symptom, here is what happens:
1. The App first runs a local safety check (on your device) before any AI call. This works offline and screens for emergency / unsafe inputs. 2. Your request is sent over an encrypted connection to our backend (a Supabase Edge Function acting as a secure proxy). 3. Our backend forwards the relevant content to a third-party AI model provider (Google — Gemini) to generate the response. We may use additional AI models to cross-check results. 4. The AI's response is returned to the App and shown to you, and a short factual summary may be stored to give future answers helpful context.
Important points about AI processing:
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers needed to run Pawsy, each acting as our processor under contract:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the public. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred, and we will notify you of any change in control or use of your personal information.

You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf where the law allows.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the App. Deleting your account removes your dog profiles, health events, chat history, pet facts, stored photos, and other personal data associated with your account from our active systems, subject to the limited-retention exceptions in Section 6. You can also request deletion by emailing vibefactory22@gmail.com.
Deleting the App from your device does not by itself delete your account or server-stored data — use in-app deletion or email us.
Pawsy is not directed to children. The App is intended for users who are at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country; at least 13 in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact vibefactory22@gmail.com and we will delete it.
We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to address vulnerabilities promptly.
We and our service providers may process and store your information in countries other than the one in which you live, including the United States (our backend and several providers operate in the US). These countries may have data-protection laws different from yours. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) or an adequacy decision. Pawsy provides general, informational content about dog health. It is not veterinary advice, not a diagnosis, and not a medical device. The AI can be inaccurate. Pawsy is not a substitute for examination, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed veterinarian. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified veterinarian about your dog's health. In an emergency, call a veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital immediately — do not rely on the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of Pawsy after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
